Meet Victoria
Victoria Hagan is an award-winning designer whose work reflects the New American Classic — a modern sense of luxury that is fresh, restrained and iconic.
Victoria Hagan is the award-winning designer whose iconic sensibility is so uniquely American that Architectural Digest has dubbed her “the environmental equivalent of Katharine Hepburn.”
Since founding her eponymous firm over 25 years ago, Victoria has been celebrated for an intelligent integration of architecture and interior design. Based in New York City, the 26-person firm works on a wide range of residences throughout the county, providing a complete range of design services that reflect her signature style.
Soon after Victoria began her career in 1985, The New York Times described her work as “the most cerebral, the one bound to be influential,” and she continues to be a major force in the design community. She is continually featured in such publications as Architectural Digest, The New York Times, New York Magazine, Elle Décor, Vogue, Veranda, W, Town & Country, Harper’s Bazaar, and House Beautiful. Vogue exclaimed that she defies the old school implications of the term ‘lady decorator.’
Victoria has been awarded many of the country’s top design honors, including Architectural Digest’s AD100. She has been inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame.
A graduate of the Parsons School of Design, she serves on the school’s Board of Governors. Each year she endows a scholarship in its MFA program for Interior Design with the goal of providing education for students from underserved backgrounds.
